KOM Networks. is pleased announce that we are now shipping our 12" Optical Jukebox as part of the Kstore® family of bundled hardware and software solutions.

Kstore® 12 inch optical jukeboxes bundled with KOM Networks OptiStorm® NT/ OptiServer® UNIX/VMS offers the KOM Networks distribution channel and end users the first one stop shop source for large optical storage systems with capacities ranging from 480GB to 1728GB (1.7 terabytes).

KOM Networks' 12 inch optical libraries, holding up to 12GB of information per optical disk, provide true on-line storage at a fraction of the cost per GB of magnetic storage and makes it ideal for high volume information storage applications such as document imaging, engineering drawing storage and retrieval and data archiving.

KOM Kstore® uses the latest, 3rd generation Phillips LMS dual head drives which provide the largest amount of "data under the head" in the industry and sustained data transfer rates double that of the 5.25" inch, 2.6GB drives.
