KOM Networks has made network backup simple with an innovative, yet flexible, network-wide disk to disk back-up utility designed to maximize performance with optical storage sub-systems, in addition to other storage mediums. Designed to compliment KOM Networks award winning OptiStorm® Jukebox Management software, OptiBac® was built on the 15 years experience and on the over 6000 site installations of KOM Networks optical storage products.

Key to OptiBac® 1.5 unique approach to network wide back-up is to allow direct access to the file system and will allow enhanced flexibility, such as the ability to create back-up sets and give the administrator the option of a full back-up, incremental back-up or differential back-up.
